TRICIA MULLER

Tricia Muller, E-RYT 200, 530hr RYT, and YACEP - founder and owner of Double Iris Yoga & Massage, LLC (2018), is registered with Yoga Alliance and World Yoga Federation. Tricia studied with the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC in 2016 for her 230 hr RYT and completed her 500hr RYT virtually through YogaMU and Bhaktiyogshala based in India through the pandemic in 2021. Yoga enveloped Tricia in 2012 while studying at Shepherd University and taking classes with Gena Rockwell at Harmony Healing and Arts Center in Shepherdstown, WV where she developed a consistent personal yoga practice. Tricia began teaching yoga in 2016 after she took her practice to the next level. Additionally, she is a licensed massage therapist in the state of West Virginia (2018), a certified Sarga Bodywork Practitioner (2024), a practicing martial artist in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and most importantly, is a mother of two beautiful children. Tricia blends her education, wisdom and inspirations to create her unique style. She states “I take a meditative flow approach to most of my classes focused on the breath, posture, and anatomy to cultivate proprioceptive awareness in body and mind. I encourage students to implement these ideas and practices off the mat so they can more easily maneuver their lives. I am honored to be a part of this community doing what I love to do.” She promises to encourage capturing deeper and truer vision in everyone she meets.

SHERRY SPEELMAN

Sherry Speelman, E-RYT 500, RPYT, RCYT, CLYL, C-IAYT, began her yoga journey over 25 years ago. Feeling the benefits of being a consistent practitioner and wanting to deepen her knowledge and understanding of the practice and the spiritual aspects, she completed her 500 hour certification through Jala Yoga in Shepherdstown WV. She began teaching in 2016 to share this knowledge with others. 

Sherry has since studied at Kriplau Center for yoga and health to obtain her 800 hour Professional Yoga Therapist Certification. As well as, 85 hour Certification for Prenatal yoga, 95 hour Certification for Children’s yoga and is a Certified laughter yoga leader. 

She has advanced certifications in yin yoga, restorative yoga, chair yoga, somatic yoga, and mindfulness practices. 

TERRY LINDSAY

Terry Lindsay is a E-RYT 500, registered yoga teacher. He has been teaching yoga for over 13 years, with over 2650 hours of teaching experience. He started practicing yoga more than 20 years ago, and from his first class he was hooked. He is yoga-teacher-trained within the Kripalu Yoga lineage, but his yoga teaching is also influenced by his personal study and practice of Iyengar Yoga, having practiced with such senior teachers as John Schumacher, Judith Lasater, Ray Long, MD; Loren Fishman, MD; and Doug Keller. His classes are balanced, safe, and appropriate for most levels of experience, beginners are always welcomed. All his classes offer modification options for different experience levels.

LISA SÍORAÍÁ

Lisa came to yoga in 2020, seeking it out as a way to incorporate more physical movement on her weight loss journey. She immediately found that yoga was beyond just a physical practice and began forging a true body-mind connection. She has used yoga, meditation and breathwork to help with anxiety and nervous system dysregulation. These daily practices have allowed her to know herself better and show up as her true self in her interactions with other human beings and the universe. She is looking forward to the next steps in her journey as both a student and teacher at Double Iris. She is currently studying a Trauma informed Hatha/Vinyasa 200HR YTT with Yoga Farm Ithaca, and Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra 80HR with Shanti Atma Yoga.

VERONICA TURLEY

Veronica is a RYT - 200 registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance graduated from the Kootenay Yoga School in Isla Mujeras, Quintana Roo, Mexico. She found yoga 12 years ago as a way to help with the stress and anxiety of being a young college student. This developed into a deep relationship with the practice and further interests in all that yoga has to offer. Veronica’s background in her personal practice focuses on Power and Heated yoga. She hopes to share the impact that yoga has had on her life as both a student and teacher with her community and all who seek peace in their lives. Veronica is also a 10-year veteran public educator and received her Master of Education in 2021.

HELEN MORRISON

Helen is a 200hr certified yoga teacher. She began her practice in 2020 and fell in love with yoga. In 2023, she decided she wanted to learn how to share it with others. Yoga has helped her come back to herself. Yoga has helped her find awareness of her mind, body, and soul. She hopes to help people find awareness within themselves as well.

CYNTHIA MCDADE

Cynthia McDade, 200hr RYT, was introduced to yoga by the owner of Double Iris, Patricia Muller, to assist with her bodywork journey in 2019. Cynthia noticed after practicing yoga she felt more present with herself and wanted to understand this new integrative affect that Yoga has on the mind, body, and the breath. Cynthia went on to study with Roots and River Yoga in Brunswick, MD in 2024 under Machelle Lee and Tara Lemerise in a 7-month personal immersion program. Cynthia continues to deepen her personal practice of yoga through self-awareness and skill development. The affect yoga has had on her nervous system is processed deeply on the mat and felt far beyond it, creating balance and joy in life. Her intention with teaching is to guide students into arriving fully on their own mats and reaping their own unique fruits of yoga.

Additionally, she is a licensed clinical social worker (VA-LCSW, 2010)(WV-LICSW, 2021) providing independent mental health care to the community in a private practice in historical Shepherdstown. Cynthia is the mother of three sons, loves to spend her spare time gardening, kayaking, or paddle-boarding, as she is happiest on the water!

SARA REZAIE

Originally from California, Sara made the move to the eastern panhandle of West Virginia almost 2 years ago. She has over 250 hours of training in Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt, and Pilates. She is passionate about yoga, movement, and health. Outside of the studio, you can find her spending time and taking walks with her 1.5 year old all black German Shepherd, Shadow.
